- Six-phase silicon rectifier with device for checking the correct diode clamping force.
- Protection of the diodes against overload, overvoltages, and over temperatures.
- Complex pneumatic cycle with low force squeeze.
- Cylinder with chrome plated stem for heavy-duty work and long life; adjustable anti-rotation device.
- Adjustable double stroke with key control.
- Lubrication-free pneumatic components to eliminate oil mist and protect the environment.
- Head descent without pressure for set up and service.
- Built-in compressed air filter unit and tank.
- Compressed air disconnecting device.
- Electrode speed control valves, shock absorbers for the end of the stroke, and air discharge silencers ensure minimum noise.
- Two-stage electric foot control for clamping and welding pieces is available only if correctly positioned.
- Pre-setting for additional double-stage electric foot connection for the direct recalling of welding program no.2 (not on units equipped with option 6132).
- Water-cooled transformers, plates, electrode-holders, and electrodes; transformers with epoxy resin-coated windings.
- Flow switch which makes the welder stop if the cooling water does not circulate.
- TE553 microprocessor control unit. Phase shift welding current adjustment. Synchronous SCR contactors insulated from cooling water circuit with protection thermostat.
- Standard on all models: two-hand safety control with timer assuring the best safety, and removable key selector. The two-hand control push-buttons are standard on projection models only (they are available on request on the spot welder model).
- Emergency push-button to stop the machine immediately.
- Automatic circuit breaker for protection.
- Valve to stop the flow of the water cooling when the machine is off.
* May be supplied capable of operating on other voltages/frequencies. Please ask for details.
* Different voltages and frequencies on request. Specifications are subject to change without notice.
- 6132 – Rotary selector for recalling the welding programs.
- 6133 – Double stroke control device with pneumatic foot instead of key one. To be used only for spot welding when the work necessarily requires it.
- 6135 – Cylinder 1200 daN (diameter 125 mm double stage) total stroke 100 mm.
- 6140 – Proportional valve.

TECNA Stainless Steel Cable Retractor Balancer Selection Guide
Retractor tool balancers use a spring mechanism to keep the tool hanging slightly below the balancer when in the rest position. To use the tool, the operator pulls down to unwind a cable. When the operator’s task is complete, the tool can again be safely returned to the rest position. While in use, the operator will feel a slight pull from the retractor, as the tool is under continuous pressure from a spring.
TECNA standard retractor tool balancers feature a nylon or aluminum housing, and suspend the tool on a stainless steel wire rope. Optional accessories include:
- Accessory unit with air hose 0.32 / 0.39 in. (8 – 10 mm)
- Accessory unit with air hose 0.43 / 0.63 in. (11 – 16 mm)
NOTE: Available for certain models, please contact a customer service representative for help selecting the right product for your application.
Balancers models 9336 – 9350 are equipped with a stop device that allows the load to be stopped in intermediate positions of the stroke, about every 3.94 in. (100 mm). The stop device can be activated and deactivated at the operator’s choice.
